Welcome to St. Luke's

We are a diverse, multicultural and all age Anglican church, serving the people of Woodside and South Norwood.

We have the Eucharist (Holy Communion) as our main 10am Sunday service each week. Expect robes, candles, incense, traditional hymns and more contemporary songs, moments of stillness and time honoured prayers - and whilst our worship is formal, it is also lively and relaxed.

Young Church for Children aged 4+ meets in the church room, and there is a corner with activities for toddlers at the back of church.

We have a youth group for secondary school aged children that meets on the third Sunday of the month during the 10am Eucharist.

Midweek - we have a well attended midweek Eucharist every Wednesday at 10am. It is usually followed by Bible Study.

If you can't attend church on Sunday, this is a great community to be part of.

Once a month we have Choral Evensong, on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

All are very welcome!

Safeguarding

We take the safeguarding and care of children and vulnerable adults very seriously at St. Luke's.

A letter from Father Sam

As Lent begins this year, many of us will feel preoccupied by the news from the war in Ukraine.

A God-filled Advent

Advent calls us to desire more than normality this Christmas: to share God’s desire for the world he loves.

History of the Church

There have been churches on our site since the 19th Century. Find out more about our building.
